A vessel group led by Russia’s only aircraft carrier, the Northern Fleet’s “Admiral Kuznetsov” is currently on a mission in the Mediterranean Sea.
Besides port visits to Syria, Lebanon and Cyprus, the vessels will be conducting drills in the area. The Greek Joint Staff has given green light to flights in western Greek air territory.
