Norwegian Home Defence units this week trained at Melkøya, the island where the Snøvhit LNG terminal is located. The home defence units in Hammerfest are among the best trained in Norway because of the town’s location near the gas installations, NRK reports. According to the PST, the Snøhvit field is the terrorist target number one in Norway.
