Successful Barents Friendship skiing

About 1800 people were participating in this weekend’s Barents Friendship skiing competition.

Location

The Barents Friendship skiing competition crosses the borders of Russia, Norway and Finland and was organized this weekend for the 14th time. This year, about 1800 people participated in the race, most of them were Russians.

The skiing competition is 12 km long and follows the border line between the three countries. Seven kilometers of the race goes on Russian territory, four on Norwegian and one on Finnish, newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda writes.
