Finnair to fly Murmansk – Helsinki

Will fly three times a week during the summer period.

Finnair will be the first foreign airliner with regular flights on Murmansk after the Norwegian based Widerøe closed the route Murmansk – Kirkenes in December 2008..

Finnair reports on their webportal that the flights starts on June 15th and will continue until September 15th. Flying time is 1 h 55 min and the flights depart Murmansk on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

A return ticket in June costs 15,612 roubles (€385), according to the booking site of Finnair.

From before, Arkhangelsk-based Nordavia fly the route Arkhangelsk – Murmansk – Helsinki with an rather old An-24 propeller.
