Today the representatives of Shtokman Development AG invited Murmansk journalists onboard of Lenin ice-breaker (now serving as a museum) to discuss ways of cooperation in the framework of the new information policy of the company.
- We intend to establish a regular and effective dialogue with the mass media. The lack of information or keeping the lid on it usually create the information vacuum which is immediately filled with rumors and speculations of various kinds. That is why it is important for us that all interested parties could get information about the company at first hand, straight from the company itself, - explained company’s standpoint Dmitry Seregin.
With the new information strategy, multi-media press centres will be established based on company offices in Russia, also an official speaker will be appointed in order to be ready at any time to give comments on company’s activities and operations.
Apart from that it is planned to organize regular visits of journalists to construction sites of the company.
As BarentsObserver previously reported, one of the important things introduced by a new information policy is a renewed web-site of the company - www.shtokman.ru, where one can get information about the current situation of the Shtokman project, potential suppliers/contractors, tenders and career opportunities.
