“Floating University”, is a joint project by the Northern (Arctic) University of Arkhangelsk and the Northern Territorial Administration for Hydrometeorological and Environmental Monitoring.
On board the vessel the students will be given courses in ecology, hydro chemistry, oceanology and hydrometeorology by scientists from several leading research institutes and take part in practical scientific research, RIA Novosti writes.
