Welcome to the Pasvik Inari Trilateral Park

Pasvik-Inari

The Pasvik River flows from the great Lake Inari and extends towards the Barents Sea on the border of Norway and Russia. In this area, Norway, Finland and Russia have jointly established the Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park.

Location

The Norwegian Øvre Pasvik National Park, the Finnish Vätsäri Wilderness Area and the Russian Pasvik Zapovednik have joint efforts in the trilateral project which is intended to help promote the area and attract tourists.

Joint research activities will be conducted and park managers will develop nature tourism in the area. According to Norwegian broadcaster NRK, a cross-border path will be opened between three countries.
