The Monastery of the Holy Trifon is being rebuilt on its historical place in Luostari. The church at the monastery in Pechenga is built after drawings of the original church from 1886.

In 1589, six years after Trifon's death, Swedish robbers plundered and burned the monastery. 116 monks were killed in the fire. Their ashes are buried in the monastery.
