The Northern (Arctic) University of Arkhangelsk (SAFU) and the Northern Territorial Administration for Hydrometeorological and Environmental Monitoring have concluded an agreement on summer courses for students aboard the scientific research vessel “Professor Molchanov”.
The vessel will be equipped with modern technology for study of the Arctic and will leave for its first mission to the White Sea, the Barents Sea and Svalbard next summer. 20-25 students, professors and scientific staff members from SAFU will spend 30-40 days on the expedition, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.
