The StatoilHydro-operated Snohvit field – the first hydrocarbon project opened in the Barents – has since construction started in 2002 exceeded original budget frames with about 50 percent.
The final construction costs for the Snohvit project have amounted to 58 billion NOK (7,35 billion EUR). Gazprom deputy Aleksandr Medvedev yesterday met with business representatives in Oslo, newspaper Dagens Næringsliv reports.
