According to Andrey Aprelenko, General Director Rosnefteflot, operator of the Belokamenka, the 360 000DWT supertanker transshipped more than 11.8 million tons of crude oil in course of the ten first months of the year, Portnews.ru reports.

Since Belokamenka started operating in the Kola bay in 2004 over 60 million tons, including 30.1 million tons of exported crude oil has passed through the tanker. According to Aprelenko the terminal has offloaded oil onto 1544 tankers, including 304 tankers of 100 000DWT exporting liquid bulk.

He added that the port charges for the Belokamenka facility operation have amounted to €9.6 million, fees from coastal tankers calls - more than €2.2 million. This year only about €2.7 of taxes from the Belokamenka project were channeled to the Russian budget.

- Talking about the future of the offshore terminal, we believe that the next 2-3 years the Belokamenka oil terminal will continue stable operation at a level of not lower than the previous volume of transshipment, Aprelenko said.
