Norwegian Consulate General receives more and more visa-applications. In March, 1687 applications were handled, compared with 1214 in March last year.
Half of the applications were for so-called Pomor-visas, visas issued to citizens of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions that don’t need a valid invitation before applying. With a Pomor-visa, the person can enter Norway multiple times over a one year period. After the first year, the person can apply for a two-year valid visa.
