Barents Press youth gathering

Young journalists and journalism students from Russia, Norway, Finland and Sweden gathered in Kirkenes this weekend.

At the end of the Barents Press annual meeting, Barents Mediasphere arranged a gathering for all young journalists participating at the conference. The focus for this meeting was the future cooperation for young journalists in the Barents Region.

All 40 participants were devided into different groups discussing relevant topics concerning the Barents Press cooperation.

Next year Barents Press will have its annual meeting in Oulu, Finland. One of the topics of the discussions were the plans to have a new youth gathering at that meeting.
