Murmansk gets Nuclear Power Centre

The Russian state-owned nuclear power company Rosatom intends to establish an Information Centre for Nuclear Power in downtown Murmansk.

Location

The centre will house multimedia facilities and a movie hall. With the new centre, Rosatom intends to help distribute information about nuclear power to the population, Murman.ru reports. Currently, there are three similar centres opened in Russia. All together there will be 11 of the centres all over Russia. Murmansk Oblast is one of the Russian regions which houses a nuclear power station, the Kola NPP located in the town of Polyarnye Zori.
