The two-month expedition headed by the Russian Federal Service on Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring will among other things ship more than 2000 tons of goods to 40 Russian research and meteorology stations in the Arctic. The research conducted during the mission is made within the frames of the International Polar Year, Regnum reports.
