Gazprom directors discussed Teriberka

Gas from Shtokman

The development of Teriberka, the hub for the development of the Shtokman field, was on the agenda when several prominent Gazprom leaders met in the company’s Moscow headquarters.

Location

The company representatives in the meeting last Friday discussed port and transport infrastructure in Teriberka, the former fishing village located about 100 km northeast of Murmansk. Among the issues were physical and mathematical models for the placing of the port for loading of LNG and gas condensate, a press release from the company reads.

The meeting was headed by Deputy Chairman of Gazprom’s Management Committee Aleksandr Ananenkov. It was attended by leaders of several of the company’s subsidiaries, among them Gazprom Dobycha Shelf, Gazflot, Giprospetsgaz and the Shtokman Development AG. Also representatives of the Federal Agency of Sea and River Fleet and the research institutes State Research Institute on Navigation and Hydrographics (Ministry of Defence) and the Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute were present.
