Utair starts up flights to Murmansk

Airline company Utair will start up daily flights between Murmansk and Moscow, the company informs.

Location

The company is the third company flying to Murmansk. From before, the Sky Express and Aeroflot Nord operate the route.

The Utair flights will be based in the Vnukovo airport in Moscow. Tickets will cost about 6000 RUB for return trips, Murman.ru reports.

Utair is one of the three biggest Russian airline companies with 150 aircrafts and 200 helicopters.

The flights start up at a time when passenger numbers in Murmansk are declining. As BarentsObserver reported the Murmansk Airport the first two months of the year handled 25 percent less passengers than in the same period last year.
