-We will be ready to abolish the visa, be it tomorrow, Minister Lavrov says in an interview with Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. He regrets that it is not possible for Moscow to introduce visa freedom bilaterally with single EU members.
In the interview, the Russian minister also expresses content his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb’s intention to work for visa-free travel with Russia, Newsru.com reports with reference to the Finnish newspaper.
-This shows a growing level of understanding of our mutual benefit from such a step, he underlines, adding that talks on the issue should get a more practical approach which would bring the parts closer to the end goal – the introduction of visa-free travel.
