The production increase will be secured by the drilling of new wells and the development of additional resources, the regional administration reports in a press release. The oil field, one of three in Russia operated on a Production Sharing Agreement, now faces its third production phase. The field is run by Total (50%), Statoil-Hydro (40%) and the Nenets Oil Company (10%). Daily production in the field is currently 3000 tons of oil.
