President to work as prime minister

In case of Putin’s victory in the presidential elections 2012, he will not move to Kremlin at once. Until the inauguration in May he will be working in the White House, carrying out the duties of the prime minister.

Location

Four years ago when Putin and Medvedev switched their places for the first time, it took less than two weeks for the new-elected president to move to the Red square. In that situation a new special decree was needed for Medvedev to get security and access to State airplanes and to solve other problems connected to his new status.

After elections on the fourth of March Vladimir Putin and his team will not rush to move to Kremlin and will work in the White house until the inauguration in May. Dmitry Medvedev will act as President until the inauguration of Putin and will be representing Russia on large international events like the summit on nuclear safety, which takes place in Seoul in the end of March, Kommersant writes.
