During his visit to Gdansk, Poland, yesterday, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin met with Finland’s Matti Vanhanen.

“Relations between our two countries are very good. Of course there are well-known problems related to the international financial crisis. But still, life if moving forward and relations between our to countries are developing”, Putin said, a press release from the Russian government reads.

It is about three months since the two government leaders met in Helsinki for comprehensive talks about bilateral issues. Read more about that visit here.
