The survey was made by Levada Analytical Centre in Moscow.

Asked about if Russia need a Duma, 32 percent answered that life in the country can be just as well organized by decrees of the President. 47 percent say a Duma is needed, while 21 percent say it is hard to answer.

While 54 percent thinks the Duma election will be rather dirty, 29 percent answer they believe it will be generally fair, while 18 percent don’t know.

The Duma election takes place on December 4th. Less than four months after, the Presidential election takes place in March 2012. In another poll, also made by Levada Centre, asked the respondents about who will win the Presidential election.

22 percent said Dmitri Medvedev, 41 percent Vladimir Putin, 10 percent answered someone else, while 28 percent said it is hard to answer.
