Former Speaker of Murmansk Duma Vasily Shambir was arrested on August 12 at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow, trying to leave the country while under investigation.

Russia might soon soften the embargo on foodstuffs from Europe. The list will not be long, but crucial for Russian domestic production of salmon and potatoes.
