Russia’s President Dmitri Medvedev will visit Norway in the spring, says speaker of the Murmansk regional Duma Yevgeny Nikora.

At a meeting on Tuesday with Norway’s General Counsul in Murmansk, Jon Fredriksen, Yevgeny Nikora said President Medvedev will devote his visit to Norway to discuss economical cooperation and innovation, reports the Murmansk based web-portal B-port.

This will be Dmitri Medvedev’s first visit to Norway. Last official presidential visit to Norway was in November 2002, when Vladimir Putin visited Oslo.
