2000 cars waiting for border-crossing

About 2000 cars are lined up waiting for border-crossing by the Estonian-Russian border checkpoint of Narva.

The people waiting by the border will have to wait up to four days to get through, newspaper Rossiiskaya Gazeta reports. About 2000 cars are queuing to cross the border. Traffic by the border is chaotic after thousands of Russians went to the Baltics in the recent days of public vecation. An announcement at the border says that travelers will have to expect to wait 102 hours for the necessary customs clearance. Travelers are instead recommended to take the ferry to Helsinki and cross over to Russia over the Finnish-Russian border.
