Regional governors in Presidential delegation

Both Arkhangelsk governor Ilya Mikhalchuk and Murmansk governor Dmitri Dmitrienko are with President Dmitri Medvedev’s official delegation to Norway.


Also, many business leaders from Murmansk and Arkhangelsk are in Oslo today.

A large-scale Russian-Norwegian business conference takes place in Oslo Monday afternoon in connection with President Dmitri Medvedev’s official state visit to Norway. Most of the participants are from Moscow and St. Petersburg, but important companies in the northern part of Russia are also present.

From Murmansk, General Director of Murmanshelf Gregory Strathy participates. From Arkhangelsk Sergey Smirnov from Sozvezdie, Nikolai Kalistratov and Valery Borodin from Sevmash Yury Nikitin from Zvezdochka and Yury Nikulin from Trawl Fleet participate.

The Russian Presidential delegation also involve Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Natural Resources Minister Yuri Trutnev, Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko, Minister of Telecommunications and Mass Communications Igor Shchegolev, Prosecutor ‘s General Yuri Chaika, head of the Federal Fisheries Agency Andrei Krainiy, presidential special representative for cooperation in the Arctic region Artur Chilingarov.
