Whether the technical accession will take place [in 2010] or not is too early to say. The main problems in the talks are timber export tariffs, Trans-Siberian overflight rates, state subsidies to the agricultural sector and veterinary control issues. The inclusion of Russia in the WTO is expected to significantly facilitate trade and economic cooperation with the country.
