Head of the Russian presidential administration, Arkadii Dvorkovich, says Russia will complete negotiations over membership in the WTO in 2010.

Talking to TV channel Vesti-24, Mr. Dvorkovich said that the negotiation process over membership in the trade club will be ended in 2010, Newsru.com reports. -There are not many contents problems left, negotiations can be completed in the course of a few months, the presidential aide said. He still did not dare to say that Russia will enter the organization next year. –We are optimistically tuned with regard to the negotiation process. Whether the technical accession will take place [in 2010] or not is too early to say. The main problems in the talks are timber export tariffs, Trans-Siberian overflight rates, state subsidies to the agricultural sector and veterinary control issues. The inclusion of Russia in the WTO is expected to significantly facilitate trade and economic cooperation with the country.
