Heating debts tripled in one month

Consumer debts to heating suppliers in Murmansk Oblast increased threefold from October to November.

The companies which provide heating to houses in Murmansk Oblast increased debts to electricity generator TGK-1 with 200 percent in one month, Murman.ru report. Those debts however come as consumers fail to pay their bills to the municipal housing companies. According to TGK-1, the biggest electricity generator in Northwest Russia, electricity debts are on the quick rise in several of the Northwest Russian federal subjects. In Murmansk Oblast, heating debts increased from 466 million RUB at 1 October to 1198 million at 1 November.
