Medvedev will meet the Finnish President Tarja Halonen at her summer residence at Kultaranta in the town of Naantali, famous for being home to the Moomin world.
Last summer, Tarja Halonen was a guest of the Russian President at his summer dacha. No information is provided at Kremlin’s web portal about what topics are planned for the agenda on the summer meeting.
There are extensive multi-level political contacts between Finland and Russia. Medvedev made a state visit to Finland last year.
