According to Regnum, companies, authorities and institutions now owe employees a total of 675 million RUB, which is up three-fold since the start of the year. The situation is worst in Murmansk Oblast where debts have increased from 19 million RUB to 68 million this year. Arkhangelsk Oblast is not far behind with salary debts amounting to 60 million RUB, Regnum writes. It is the biggest companies in the region which are the worst non-payers of salaries.
