There were winter swimmers from Finland, Ireland, USA, UK, China, Chile, South Africa etc. Murmansk has applied to organize winter swimming world championship in 2016.

Lou and Hennie from South Africa came to Murmansk for a winter holiday. In their home country there is no snow even in winter time. "Sometimes in the night it might be -0 or -1 degrees Celsius in winter", Lou says.
