A spokesman from Murmansk Shipping Company (MSCo) says to Lloyd’s list that the company negotiated and ordered the bulk carriers just before the financial crises hit the world’s dry bulk shipping sector a year ago.
The vessels were supposed to be built at a China’s Chengxi Shipyard.
MSCo operates 22 vessels in its dry cargo fleet today in addition to a fleet of tankers, passenger vessels and an icebreaker.
