This forum, which takes place on May 25-28, will be the first of its type in history of tourism development, according to Regnum.
A delegation from Arkhangelsk visited the recent international tourism fair Intourmarket in Moscow, where they met with representatives from UN’s World Tourism Organization, who gave their support to the forum.
The Arkhangelsk regional Government plans to invite leading Russian hoteliers to the Forum, in hope that they will consider opening new hotels in town. The hotel capacity in Arkhangelsk is quite limited, with only two larges hotels.
