Russian tax revenues down 34 percent

In the first four months of 2009, Russian federal tax revenues dropped 34 percent.

The decline in tax collection took place in all major sectors, except unexpectedly private individuals income tax, Oilru.com reports with reference to the Federal Tax Service. In the period January-April, a total of 961.4 billion RUB of federal taxes were collected in the Tax Service, which is 34,4 percent down year on year.
