The power generator doubled its profit, up from 864 million rubles in 1Q – 2008, reports Interfax.
TGK-1 is the leading producer and supplier of electricity and heat power in Northwest Russia and the third largest territorial generating company in Russia in terms of installed capacity. It operates 55 electric generating stations in four regions in Northwest-Russia – the City of St Petersburg, Republic of Karelia, Leningrad Region and Murmansk Region.
