Newspaper chief editors dismissed

The chief editors of three major media companies in Murmansk Oblast have been dismissed following the shift of governor in the region.

Location

According to Kolsky Khonograf, chief editors of the newspapers Vecherny Murmansk and Murmansky Vestnik have both left their posts. That comes less than one week after the Dmitry Dmitriyenko’s takeover as regional governor.

As BarentsObserver reported, also chief editor of the Murman TV and Radio Station Dmitry Peredery was fired after the dismissal of former governor Yury Yevdokimov.
