The four men, all natives of Murmansk Oblast, lost their lives in combat with regional rebel forces, Newsru.com reports with reference to Interfax. The fighting took place when the interior ministry forces sealed off a building controlled by the rebels. Policemen from Murmansk Oblast have served in the North Caucasus ever since the first war in Chechnya started in 1994.
