Gazprom Neft has offered foreign oil majors Chevron, ENI and Shell exchange of assets, company deputy CEO Boris Zilbermints said to Interfax. He confirms that the company awaits responses to the request by the end of September. He does not want to reveal the name of the potential assets. Analysts believe however that Gazprom Neft is actively seeking the acquisitions of licenses both in the Barents Sea and in the Timan-Pechora province. Denis Borisov from the “Solid” analysis company says to Vedomosti that these fields could become objects for swaps.
