Yuri Rodionovsky won the city elections with 36,49 percent of the votes casted. The election turnout was 36,71 percent. Mr. Rodionovsky has also earlier served as mayor Naryan-Mar Olga Starostina, Head of the city Finance Department, won the second place with 27,78 percent of the votes, while Tatiana Fyodorova, a city official, became number three with 18,26 percent. The mayors elections were held after former mayor Leonid Sablin unexpectedly retired from his post on March 4.
