One of the main goals of the forum is to promote Russian language teaching in Finland and increase interest in Russian culture in Finnish society, newspaper Kaleva reports. The forum participants will also be discussing ways to strengthen Russian business in Finland. A network of the Russian language and culture organisations is organising the event together with the State provincial administraton of Oulu, the city of Oulu and the Oulu region joint authority of education.
