Over the last ten years the numbers of Finns holding dual citizenship has multiplied threefold, reports Helsingin Sanomat.
In total more than 50,000 Finns are holding double citizenship, of which Russian is the largest group.
Russian citizens are also the largest group of foreigners living in Finland. Today, there are 28,000 Russians living in Finland.
In total, there are 52,000 persons in Finland who speak Russian as their mother tongue, according to a report presented by Statistics Finland, writes Helsingin Sanomat.
