The regional authorities in Murmansk Oblast invited Finnmark County authorities to take part in the complex task to improve living conditions in Teriberka, the latter’s web site reads.
A program for development of the village is now under preparation. The focus points will be support to the fisheries sector, entrepreneurship and business and cooperation with municipalities in Finnmark.
The border municipality Sør-Varanger is taking part in this project, as well as the fishery dominated municipality Båtsfjord and Finnmark’s gas capital Hammerfest.
