The man, that had crossed Russia by train to get to the Norwegian border, was arrested late Tuesday evening by the border guards near the checkpoint “Tourbasa” half the way between the town of Nikel and the border crossing point to Norway.
RIA Novosti reports that the man told the border guards that he had a dream to go to Norway, get a job, and by that a better life. Instead, he now risk to spend time in jail for the attempt to cross the border illegally.
