Aleksey Palamarchuk has been appointed acting City Mayor of Murmansk.
Palamarchuk is 34 years old and has been working as first deputy mayor under now dismissed city leader Sergey Subbotin, MBNews.ru reports.
As previously reported, the Murmansk City Council last week unanimously decided to dismiss Subbotin on the grounds of “dissatisfactory management”.
