Putin goes to Finland

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will visit Finland on 27 May. Border issues and regional cooperation will be high on the meeting agenda with Finland’s Matti Vanhanen.

The government leader will hold meetings with his Finnish counterpart Matti Vanhanen and top agenda issues will be trade relations, transport cooperation, energy, science and innovation, forestry and the development of border and customs infrastructure, RIA Novosti reports with reference to a government press release. Also regional cooperation in northern Europe will be discussed.
