The Murmansk regional administration this week announced that the Murmanskpromstroy company will be responsible for the upgrade of the region’s major sport facility. The Dolina Uyut will be equipped with a number of new and improved objects making it fully capable of competing with the best winter sport complexes in Russia.
A total of 476 billion RUB will be invested in area, a press release from the Murmansk regional administration reads.
The Dolina Uyut is located only a few kilometers away from downtown Murmansk and is planned to become a key site for both training and competition. Special priority is expected to be placed on Nordic Skiing and biathlon.
The Dolina Uyut is a popular site for a outdoor sport activities also in summer time. A major number of people use the place for football and bicycling.
