November 16 2010 marked the start-up of the towing of the ice-protected platform Prirazlomnaya from the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk to Murmansk, where it will be completed. The platform is designed to operate on Russia’s first offshore hydrocarbon field in the Arctic, called Prirazlomnoye.
