Foreign investments in Russian amounted to 32.163 billion USD in the first half-year of 2009. That is 30.9 percent less than in the same period of 2008, Prime-TASS reports.
The largest foreign investors in Russia are the Netherlands, Cyprus and Luxembourg, with respectively 18.6, 16.6 and 15.1 percent of all foreign investments in the country.
Russia invested 43.5 billion USD abroad in the first half-year. This is 16.8 percent less than in the same period in 2008. Russia invests most in Cyprus (28.4 percent), the Netherlands (19.7 percent) and USA (10 percent).
