As BarentsObserver reported, unemployment is increasing in all of Russia. According to the latest numbers from Murmansk Oblast Ministry for Economic Development, three percent of the economic active population in the region is now unemployed.
Another 2400 is expected lose their jobs in the near future as a consequence of reductions and shutdowns, Murmansky Vestnik writes.
