The document was signed on May, 26 by Pierre Nergararyan, the president of Total, from the French side, and Yury Evdokimov, the governor of Murmansk oblast, from the Russian side. According to him, the cooperation will be developed in four main directions: education, health care, culture and ecology. Total will also establish a representative office in Murmansk. A part of the French delegation was the countrys Ambassador to Russia Mr. Stanislas de Laboulaye as well as the representatives of french business and trade. They will participate in the business forum on Shtokman gas-condensate field, which takes place today. The French business representatives are ready to offer Murmansk new technologies and equipment for the construction and traffic infrastructure, as well as water treatment and waste recycling. They are also ready to invest in Murmansk and hope to find regional partners.
